In my dreams
We were together
You asked me how long I'd love you
I answered, "Always and Forever"
You held me close
I held you tight
You smiled and said
"I want to be like this
Every day and night"
As I awoke
A smile came to my face
And I knew, and said to myself
"No one will take your place"
When I saw you that day
I told you about my dream
As I went on and on
Your smile got bigger
When I was done
You held me in your arms
And held me tight
And I smiled and said to myself
"This is the dream I had last night"
